# FAQ

**Common questions about Fantasy Top.** Find answers to technical issues, gameplay questions, and account management.

***

### Account & Access

#### What happens if my X account is suspended?

If your X account is suspended after signing up, you can log in to Fantasy Top using the **wallet connect option via Privy**.

Please make sure you export your Fantasy wallet private key immediately after creating your wallet to maintain secure access to your wallet.

#### How do I log in if I can't access my X or Gmail account?

You can use **Wallet Connect** as a backup login method. Import your Fantasy Top private key into a supported wallet, then select Wallet Connect when logging in.

Make sure you've saved your private key before you lose access to your primary login methods.

#### How do I export my wallet private key?

Click your **PFP in the top right corner** of the site, navigate to the **Security tab**, click **Export Wallet**, and copy your private key.

Store this private key somewhere safe. Anyone with this key has full access to your wallet.

### Withdrawals & Transactions

#### How do I withdraw ETH from my Fantasy wallet?

To withdraw your ETH:

1. Click your PFP in the top right corner
2. Navigate to the **Security tab**
3. Click **Export Wallet** and copy your private key
4. Import your private key to your preferred wallet (MetaMask, Rainbow, etc.)
5. Send the ETH from that wallet to your destination

#### How do I withdraw USDC?

The process is the same as withdrawing ETH. Export your private key, import to your preferred wallet, and send USDC to your destination.

Make sure your destination wallet supports Base network.

#### My transaction keeps failing - How do I fix this?

Try **hard refreshing your page** (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R) and make sure you have enough ETH in your wallet for gas fees.

If the problem persists, contact the support team in the official Fantasy Discord: <https://discord.gg/fantasytop>

### Marketplace & Trading

#### I am trying to accept a bid but the offers do not show to accept - How do I fix this?

If you are trying to accept an offer on a **newly minted card**, the existing bids placed before the card was minted cannot be accepted. You will have to wait for another bid to be placed after minting before you can accept.

#### How does the 4% marketplace fee work?

The seller pays the 4% fee. When you list a card for 1 ETH, you receive 0.96 ETH after the sale. Buyers pay exactly the listed price with no additional fees (only gas).

#### What does "floor price" mean?

Floor price is the lowest current listing price for a specific Hero card. It represents the cheapest way to acquire that Hero.

#### Can I cancel a bid I placed?

Yes, you can cancel or adjust your bids at any time before they're accepted by a seller.

### Gameplay & Scoring

#### Why do Heroes in my deck show a zero score when they have points in my inventory?

**Only posts made during the tournament count towards a Hero's score.**

* **Hero Score on home page, marketplace, and profile page** = Performance over the past 7 days
* **Hero Score on competition page** = Cumulative score since the tournament started

This is why a Hero might show strong stats on their profile but zero score in your active tournament lineup if they haven't posted yet during the current competition.

#### Do replies count toward Hero scores?

No. Only original posts and the first post of a thread count. Replies to other people's posts do not generate points.

#### Do threads count fully?

Only the **first post in a thread** counts toward scoring. Subsequent posts in the same thread do not add additional views or engagement to the Hero's score.

#### What happens if a Hero deletes a post?

If a Hero deletes a post **within the first 3 hours** after posting, that post and its engagement will not count toward their score.

Posts deleted after 3 hours still count.

### Rewards & Payouts

#### When will rewards be distributed?

**Core Competition and Arena rewards** are generally delivered within 1-2 hours after the tournament concludes. You may need to refresh your page or check the **Rewards tab** to claim.

**ETH rewards for Core Competition** are manually distributed to your wallets within 24 hours.

#### How do I claim my rewards?

A flashing notification will appear on the **Shop page** if you have rewards to claim. Click the **Claim Rewards** button to collect your pending rewards.

#### Can I withdraw Fragments?

No. Fragments cannot be withdrawn or sold outside of Fantasy Top. They exist solely within the game ecosystem.

However, you can use Fragments to buy card packs, and then sell those cards for ETH on the Marketplace.

### Cards & Packs

#### What's the difference between the Shop and the Marketplace?

**The Shop** gives you random cards from packs. **The Marketplace** lets you buy and sell specific Hero cards.

Use the Shop when you want to open packs with Fragments. Use the Marketplace when you need a specific Hero for your lineup.

#### Can I trade cards with other players?

Not directly. You sell cards on the Marketplace for ETH, and other players buy them. There's no peer-to-peer trading system.

#### What happens when I burn a card?

Burning a card permanently destroys it and removes it from circulation. You cannot get it back.

Common cards can be burned to receive Fragments. When you buy Fragments with ETH, the system automatically buys and burns the cheapest marketplace card.

#### Why can't I use my card in multiple decks?

You cannot use the same exact card in multiple active Core Competition decks. However, if you own multiple copies of the same Hero (same rarity), you can use each copy in different decks.

***

### Game Modes

#### Do I need to own cards to play?

**Core Competition** requires you to own the Hero cards in your lineup.

**Arena, Prediction Markets, King of the Hill, and Free-to-Play Mode** do not require card ownership.

#### Can I edit my Core Competition lineup after the tournament starts?

No. Once the tournament starts (Monday at 2:00 PM UTC), your lineup is locked for the entire 3-day period.

You can freely edit your lineup before the tournament starts.

#### How does the 3-hour card lock work?

When you register a deck for Core Competition, your cards are locked and cannot be sold, burned, or used in other decks.

**Cards unlock 3 hours after the tournament starts** (Monday at 5:00 PM UTC). Once unlocked, you can sell, burn, or level them up while the tournament continues running.

#### Can I enter multiple leagues in Core Competition?

Yes. You can register unlimited decks across any leagues, as long as each deck meets the league's rarity and Star caps.

You cannot use the same card in multiple active decks.

***

### Fragments & Currency

#### How do I get more Fragments?

* Win Core Competition tournaments
* Complete quests in the Shop
* Win Prediction Markets
* Win King of the Hill
* Burn Common cards
* Sell Hero cards for ETH, then buy Fragments

#### Why does the Fragment price change?

Fragment pricing is **dynamic** and based on the global floor price of Hero cards. When card prices rise, Fragments cost more. When card prices fall, Fragments are cheaper.

#### What are FAN Points used for?

FAN Points give you:

* Voting power on new Heroes
* Priority access to beta features and new game modes
* Exclusive benefits and early access opportunities
* Priority for special events

FAN Points don't expire and accumulate over time as you play.

### Technical Issues

#### The site isn't loading properly - what should I do?

Try these steps:

1. Hard refresh your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R)
2. Clear your browser cache
3. Try a different browser
4. Disable browser extensions that might interfere

If issues persist, contact support in Discord.

#### I can't see my cards after opening a pack - where are they?

Check your **Inventory** to see all cards you own. Sometimes newly opened cards take a moment to appear. Try refreshing the page.

If cards still don't appear after a few minutes, contact support.

#### Gas fees are too high - what can I do?

Fantasy Top operates on **Base**, which has much lower gas fees than Ethereum mainnet. Typical gas fees are pennies, not dollars.

If fees seem unusually high, wait a few minutes and try again when network congestion is lower.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://fantasy-top.gitbook.io/fantasy-top-guide/community-and-resources/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
