Quick reference for Fantasy Top terms and concepts.

A

Arena

A game mode where you pay USDC to enter 3-day tournaments. All players select 5 Heroes from a random pool of 24. No card ownership required.


B

Base

The blockchain network Fantasy Top operates on. Base is an Ethereum Layer 2 with low transaction fees and fast confirmations.

Bronze League

The entry-level league in Core Competition. Only Common rarity cards allowed. Star cap: 25.

Burn

Permanently destroying a card, removing it from circulation. Common cards can be burned for Fragments. Cards are also burned automatically when players buy Fragments.

Burn Wars

Seasonal competition where players burn cards to compete for Fragment and FAN Point rewards. Top 150 burners share the prize pool.


C

Card

See NFT Card.

Card Lock

The 3-hour period after a Core Competition tournament starts when registered cards cannot be sold, burned, or used in other decks. Cards unlock at Monday 5:00 PM UTC.

Clout

A measure of social influence. Heroes with higher Clout generate more points from engagement.

Common (Rarity)

The most basic card rarity. Score multiplier: 1x.

Core Competition

The main weekly tournament format. Runs Monday 2:00 PM UTC to Thursday 2:00 PM UTC. Requires owning Hero cards to compete.

Deal of the Day

Featured marketplace listings in the Shop showing the best current deals for different rarities.

Deck

A lineup of 5 Hero cards registered for a Core Competition tournament.

Diamond League

The highest tier league in Core Competition. All rarities allowed. Star cap: 40.

Dynamic Pricing

Fragment prices that fluctuate based on the global floor price of Hero cards on the marketplace.


E

Engagement

Views, likes, replies, reposts, and bookmarks on X posts. The metrics that generate Hero scores.

Epic (Rarity)

High-tier card rarity. Score multiplier: 2x.

ETH

Ethereum cryptocurrency. The primary "real money" reward in Fantasy Top. Can be withdrawn to your wallet.


F

FAN Points

Meta-progression currency that accumulates permanently. Used for voting on new Heroes, unlocking beta features, and accessing exclusive benefits. Cannot be withdrawn.

Fantasy Wallet

Your in-game wallet managed by Privy. Holds ETH, USDC, Fragments, FAN Points, and Hero cards.

First Post Rule

Only the first post in a thread counts toward Hero scoring. Subsequent posts in the same thread don't generate additional points.

Floor Price

The lowest current listing price for a specific Hero card on the marketplace.

Fragments (FRAG)

Primary in-game currency. Used to buy card packs, enter King of the Hill, and place Prediction Market bets. Cannot be withdrawn but can be converted to cards.

Free-to-Play Mode

Game mode that uses non-NFT cards and runs 24-hour tournaments. No deposits required. Rewards include XP, cards, and progression items.


G

Gas Fee

Transaction cost for blockchain operations. Fantasy Top uses Base network, so gas fees are typically pennies.

Gold League

Mid-tier league in Core Competition. All rarities allowed. Star cap: 32.


H

Hero

A real X personality represented as a playable card in Fantasy Top. Heroes score points based on their X engagement during tournaments.

Hero Score

Points accumulated by a Hero based on their X post performance. Calculated from views, likes, replies, reposts, and bookmarks.


K

King of the Hill

Weekly tournament where you predict which Hero will score highest in each Star tier (1-8 stars). Entry: 50 Fragments per submission.


L

Lavender Pack

Premium card pack costing 2,500 Fragments. Guarantees Epic or Legendary card with 3+ stars.

League

Competitive tier in Core Competition based on rarity restrictions and Star caps. Five leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond.

Legendary (Rarity)

Highest card rarity. Score multiplier: 2.5x.

Level Up

Burning 5 identical cards (same Hero, same rarity) to upgrade one card to the next rarity tier.

Lucky Spin Wheel

Wheel you can spin for 50 Fragments (or 485 for 10x). Rewards include FAN Points, Fragments, and card packs.


M

Marketplace

Where players buy and sell Hero NFT cards for ETH. 4% seller fee applies.

Minting

Creating a new NFT card on the blockchain. Cards must be minted before they can be sold on the marketplace.


N

NFT Card

Non-fungible token representing ownership of a Hero card. Can be bought, sold, burned, or used in tournaments.


P

Platinum League

Second-highest league in Core Competition. All rarities allowed. Star cap: 36.

Prediction Markets

Game mode where you bet Fragments on specific outcomes about Heroes and events. Trade positions before markets close.

Privy

The wallet system Fantasy Top uses to manage your account and assets.


R

Rare (Rarity)

Mid-tier card rarity. Score multiplier: 1.5x.

Rarity

Card tier that determines scoring multiplier. Four rarities: Common (1x), Rare (1.5x), Epic (2x), Legendary (2.5x).

Reply Rule

Replies to other people's posts do not count toward Hero scoring. Only original posts and thread starters count.


S

Sapphire Pack

Card pack costing 500 Fragments. Guarantees Rare, Epic, or Legendary card with 3+ stars.

Season

6-week competitive cycle. Leaderboards reset each season, but your collection and currencies carry over.

Shiny Pack

Card pack purchasable with ETH. Contains 5 random Heroes. Price determined by VRGDA system.

Shop

Where you buy card packs with Fragments, spin wheels, and complete quests.

Silver League

Second-lowest league in Core Competition. All rarities allowed. Star cap: 28.

Star Rating

A Hero's performance rating (1-8 stars). Higher stars = stronger recent performance. Star ratings update every Monday.

Star Cap

Maximum total stars allowed in a league's 5-card deck. Bronze: 25, Silver: 28, Gold: 32, Platinum: 36, Diamond: 40.


T

Three-Hour Delete Rule

If a Hero deletes a post within 3 hours of posting, that post's engagement doesn't count toward their score.

Tournament

Competitive event where players compete for prizes. Core Competition and Arena run Monday-Thursday. King of the Hill runs weekly.


U

USDC

Stablecoin pegged to $1 USD. Used for Arena entry fees and prizes. Can be withdrawn.


V

VRGDA

Variable Rate Gradual Dutch Auction. Pricing system for Shiny Packs that adjusts dynamically based on demand.


W

Wallet Connect

Login method that uses your crypto wallet (MetaMask, Rainbow, etc.) to access Fantasy Top.

WETH

Wrapped Ethereum. Token version of ETH used for marketplace transactions and Fragment purchases.


X

X (formerly Twitter)

The social media platform where Heroes post and generate engagement that determines their scores.
