crownKing of the Hill

Pick the top performer in each Star tier and compete for shared jackpots with 50 Fragments per entry.

King of the Hill is a weekly prediction game where you pick which Hero will score highest in each Star tier. No cards needed - just pay 50 Fragments per entry and predict the top performer in each tier from 1-8 stars.

Predicting bangers has never been easier. Hit the winning combination and split the jackpot with anyone else who got it right.

How King of the Hill Works

The Concept

Every Fantasy Hero has a Star rating from 1 to 8. Your goal is simple: pick the Hero you think will score the highest in each Star category for the week.

No complicated math or charts needed - just make your picks and watch the results unfold.

Entry Requirements

Cost: 50 Fragments per entry

Card ownership: Not required

Number of entries: Unlimited

You can submit as many different combinations as you want. Each entry costs 50 Fragments.

Making Your Picks

Select 8 Heroes total:

  • One Hero from the 1-star tier

  • One Hero from the 2-star tier

  • One Hero from the 3-star tier

  • One Hero from the 4-star tier

  • One Hero from the 5-star tier

  • One Hero from the 6-star tier

  • One Hero from the 7-star tier

  • One Hero from the 8-star tier

Predict which Hero will outperform the others in each tier during the tournament window.

Tournament Schedule

Submission period: Open until Monday 2:00 PM UTC

Edit window: You can edit your picks anytime before the event starts

Competition window: Monday 2:00 PM UTC - Thursday 2:00 PM UTC (same as Core Competition)

Scoring and Winners

How Points Are Awarded

Each correct prediction earns 1 point:

  • If you correctly predict the highest-scoring 1-star Hero: +1 point

  • If you correctly predict the highest-scoring 2-star Hero: +1 point

  • And so on for each tier

Maximum possible score: 8/8 (all predictions correct)

Minimum score: 0/8 (no predictions correct)

Determining the Winner

The highest combo at the end of the week wins.

All players who hit that top score split the prize pool evenly.

Examples:

  • If the top score is 6/8 and only 1 player hit 6/8: They get 100% of the prize pool

  • If the top score is 7/8 and 2 players hit 7/8: Each gets 50% of the prize pool

  • If the top score is 5/8 and 10 players hit 5/8: Each gets 10% of the prize pool

You don't need a perfect 8/8 to win - you just need the highest score that week.

Prize Pool

The prize pool is determined by total entries multiplied by the entry fee, minus a platform fee.

Example:

  • 500 total entries × 50 Fragments = 25,000 Fragments collected

  • After 15% fee = Prize pool

The entire prize pool is split evenly among all players who achieve the highest score.

The $30,000 Perfect Score Jackpot

If you hit a perfect 8/8 combination, you win a $30,000 bonus jackpot in addition to the regular prize pool.

This bonus is awarded on top of your share of the weekly prize pool and is split among all players who achieve the perfect 8/8 score that week.

Examples:

  • 1 player hits 8/8: They get $30,000 + 100% of the prize pool

  • 2 players hit 8/8: Each gets $15,000 + 50% of the prize pool

  • 3 players hit 8/8: Each gets $10,000 + 33.3% of the prize pool

The perfect score bonus makes King of the Hill one of the highest potential payout opportunities in Fantasy Top.
